Wackie you and your spirited radio partner presented the Gubala Band in its best possible light. Feed back has been outstanding, and your very generous programming of the music, the quality of the interview, and the high spirit surely gave us a lift, and the listeners couldn't help getting into the mood. You do the community radio station, WMNF a bona fide service with your 2 hours of entertaining zeal and enthusiasm for the polka music field. How lucky the station is having you in their line up. Diversity in progamming is a hall mark of exellence. Just look at the ratings NPR gets when they do the Mazowsze (world famous song and dance group from Poland) in their annual television broadcast. They admit it is one of their most popular TV shows.
So, again, much thanks to you, Mrs. Wackie, and the management of WMNF for having the vision in keeping this outstanding music as part of their repetoire. My daughter, Nat the Cat Gubala, who also does her show from WTBQ radio called me to say that the program exceeded all of her expectations. Her background is in Communications, and I value her commentary, so I pass it on to you and your talented partner.
Please, if you care to do so, share our sentiments with those who do so much for the community, and their world wide listening audience. WMNF is a valuable component in the Tampa area, and the internet access adds a dimension that will develop a league of listeners down the road.
